Swindon Community Tennis Opens its Doors to Everyone!
Swindon Community Tennis officially launched its new tennis facility in Swindon by taking part in the LTA Great British Tennis Weekend on Sunday 17th May. The day was a celebration of all the work that went into the new facility including a £500k investment from Swindon Borough Council into the community building and £80k from the Lawn Tennis Association.
Over 250 picked up a racket for free as part of the opening event as the deputy mayor of Swindon cut the ribbon at 12pm. The day was well supported by the local public who were all amazed at what good value it is to use this facility.
Over 30 key fobs were sold to members of the public on the day at the affordable price of £30 per household per annum for a whole year, with no further costs. In addition the purchaser also has access to a free online booking system.
To purchase your key fob online to access the courts please look on the Play Tennis page to access the form online or in paper format.
