Swindon Community Tennis Coaches Promote in Town Centre

news-popup-1The team spoke to well over 100 people about the tennis facility at St Marks Recreation Ground explaining how affordable it is to play tennis in this wonderful facility. In addition to this the team were promoting the opportunity to try tennis for free at the Great British Tennis Weekend on the site opening on May 17th.

Regional Tennis Participation Manager Zoe Bambridge who supported the event said “it was fantastic to kick off the summer of tennis doing this promotion with the coaches; they have a fantastic team in place to develop tennis at St Marks and will be sure to welcome all ages and abilities to try tennis”.

news-popup-3Coaching is supplied by local team Neil Watts and Steve Yeardley (Wiltshire Tennis Academy) with their team of six coaches. They will be launching the coaching programme at St Marks at the opening of the site.
